Stephen Card

Stephen has over 25 years of real estate investment, private equity, and finance experience. Prior to founding Pillar, he served as Managing Director of Capital Markets at Vision Real Estate Partners, an operating partner focused on the office, mixed-use, and industrial sectors. In that role, he led the firm's capital raising efforts and supported selective acquisitions.

Prior to Vision, Stephen was Director of Acquisitions at Rubenstein Partners, a real estate private equity firm focused on the office sector. He was responsible for investment activities across the East Coast, Midwest, and Texas. Stephen also procured strategic co-investment relationships, assisted in fundraising activities, and led the asset management of in the Mid-Atlantic region, including overseeing extensive capital expenditures, operations, and leasing.

Prior to Rubenstein Partners, Stephen worked at Starwood Capital Group, Catterton Partners, and Merrill Lynch investment banking. Stephen graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
